30 Days of Truth: Day Fifteen

Day Fifteen - Something or someone you couldn’t live without, because you’ve tried living without it.

Easy. So easy you could probably read my mind and save me all this vainglorious typing.

What am I all about? C'mon... you can do it.

Food, air, water? Oh, puh-leeze.
Shelter? You're not even looking, are you?
Money? You're just trying to make me laugh.

Quit wasting time.

Coffee? I'd feel sorry for the rest of the world, but no.
Books? Nah... sad thought, but I'd hang.
Chocolate? Happens more often than you'd think.

Dig a little.

Art? No.
Music? Nuh uh.
Writing? Nope.

Dig deeper.

Friends? Mm mmm.
Family? Nah.
Steve? Oh, you think you're being so clever. Beware the obvious. Though it would be indescribably painful, the answer is still no.

Dig deeper still... here's a hint... think intangible.

Dreams? Ahhhh... now you're getting warmer.
Creativity? Close, so much closer.

C'mon. What's the word... I can see it right there on the tip of your tongue. Just say it.

Passion?

YES!!!

Passion. That's it. That's the thing I can't live without. Sure, I can exist without it, but I can't live without it.

Passion: a powerful and compelling emotion or feeling (love or anger); a strong enthusiasm or desire for anything or anyone.

Don't leave home, or stay home, without it.

  1. I applaud you for sticking with these. Each of them is insightful and such fun to read. That's a good combo.
